“I have been working with Sharon Harris of Curious Ostrich Productions for over three years on a number of different, creative projects.  At all times Sharon has delivered work to an incredibly high standard, always to deadlines and has proved to be a pleasure to work with.  Sharon is always approachable and passionate about young people being fully involved in all aspects of the projects.  She has a brilliant rapport with young people of all abilities and always brings out the best in them; be it technical skills or a greater self esteem.  Sharon is trustworthy, honest and someone that always gives 100%.  She is the Hawthorn Project artist of choice and I know that without Sharon’s involvement young people would not have achieved such wonderful things and to such a high standard.  May the partnership & good work continue!”

“Sharron has recently worked as a member of a Production Team as Editor, Sound Recordist and Production Photographer on my film, Taith / A Journey.  She was also commissioned to produce a documentary about the process of making my film. As an artist my medium is painting and drawing and so making a film was a new experience for me.

I had been awarded an Arts Council of Wales Mainline Production and Development Grant 2010 / 2011 to produce a film, based on my paintings and drawings that would meet the highest possible professional standards.

I believe we have achieved that aim because of Sharron’s expertise, commitment, support and invaluable advice. Her creativity, skill, attention to detail and her sensitivity to all aspects of film making and production has been crucial to making a film of excellent quality and a very positive and rewarding experience for me.”
